One of our latest projects involves a newly started recording company named SO Music. We were contacted by their founder Johannes Sjöberg, the former Marketing Director of Sony music Sweden, and we were asked whether we wanted to help them to build up a new company for the ”new” market, with an aim to be up to date on new technologies and possibilities.

So Music will mainly launch Swedish artists performing in Swedish with an aim for the Swedish and Nordic market. Some deviations might occur but the main focus is Sweden. So Music has more than 15 years experience in the recording business and the company is run by Johannes Sjöberg.

After Johannes had explained the concept to us we were so convinced of its future that we actually decided to become partners and co-owners.

The first record released was a compilation album called; STADEN I BLÅTT/ STOCKHOLM BLUE. This record contains songs from International as well as Swedish artists. The songs all have one thing in common; they have a relation to Stockholm. This record contains comments from the artists and their relation to Stockholm, as well as around 25 classic photos taken from the well known photographer Jeppe Wikströms book STADEN.

After the success with this project, an English version has now been released. The music is the same but all texts have been translated into English and the title is STOCKHOLM BLUE.

STADEN I BLÅTT/ STOCKHOLM BLUE have been noticed in; SVT "ABC", SVT "Sverige Nu!", TV4 "Stockholm", The newspapers; City, Innerstadspress, Vår Bostad, Elle, Aftonbladet and Expressen.
